Welcome to Sally Sutherland designs. Home of beautiful hand crafted lampwork beads, ornaments and Sterling Silver Jewellery. All of my beads are carefully made in the flame using glass from Italy, Germany and American, each bead is painstakingly detailed using fine pieces of glass called stringers and once complete they are placed in the kiln to be annealed, this helps to strengthen and improve the durability of the glass. Each of these original designs has been developed over years of practice, trial and error, they are all unique. ABOUT US Created in Fire Sally Sutherland designs is the creation of Sally Sutherland. Originally from Norfolk Sally moved to Scotland in 1999 to a small town near Glasgow. Sally has always been an avid maker and comes from a creative family, her father was a builder and carpenter and her mother a potter. Sally started working with silver in 2004 and glass in 2006 both mediums quickly became obsessions. Sallys beads have been featured in several beading publications and Sally has also been a guest demonstrator at the Flame Off in the UK in 2013. Sally is inspired in her designs by the wonderful scenery and nature of Scotland and her native Norfolk, she loves whimsical characters and often incorporates them into her work.

SALE OF PRODUCTS ​ Upon placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation by email. This confirmation is not an acceptance of the order nor is it a confirmation of our offer to sell. An order is deemed to be an offer by the customer to purchase items on our website and is subject to acceptance by us. ​ We may choose not to accept an order for any reason. Payment of any order is required before it is despatched. Once an order has been accepted by us, paid for by you and despatched the contract between us is deemed to be concluded. Payment can be made by PayPal or by personal cheque. Cheques must clear before we will ship the good sold to you. You must ensure that your personal details, including the address for delivery, are complete and accurate. We reserve the right to alter or withdraw products given on this website at any time. We shall endeavour that all orders are met. We do not, however, guarantee the availability of any product at any time. You acknowledge that sometimes products may be withdrawn or discontinued. We shall make every effort to update the website at all times. Commissions and Personalised Items ​ For commissions and personalised items please contact me to discuss your requirements. I do not offer refunds for personalised items, please ensure at the time of ordering is that all of the information you provide is accurate and correct. The cooling off period and right to cancel do not cover contracts for goods made to your specification (custom-made). DELIVERY ​ Delivery costs are clearly displayed before finalising your order. Delivery of the products shall take place at the delivery address entered on your order. I always use Royal Mail First Class Delivery. All International and European orders are sent First Class Airmail, if you require a trackable service please contact me for a price. We aim to ship within 24 hours of receipt of your order. Where this is not possible due to volume of orders, all orders will be shipped within 72 hours of receipt of the order and payment. PRICE AND PAYMENT Unless otherwise agreed between you and us, the price for the products shall be the price advertised upon your login on the website as published on the date of the order. CANCELLATION AND RETURNS POLICY ​ In the event that any order is incorrect, the customer must notify us within 14 (fourteen) days after delivery. We abide by the Distance Selling Regulations (DSR). If we made a mistake or if the product is faulty or damaged, the product shall be returned to us at our cost (first class). Please obtain a free proof of posting from the Post Office and please ensure that the good are packaged adequately to protect against damage. We will send a replacement at our own cost. ​ If you wish to return an item for any other reason (unwanted, not as you thought, changed your mind), In this circumstance, the customer agrees to pay for the postage to return the goods to us as per the DSR. This cost shall not be refunded. When returning the items, please obtain a free proof of posting from the Post Office and please ensure that the good are packaged adequately to protect against damage. Please ensure correct postage is paid - we will not pay the fee to obtain a package returned without correct postage. If a refund is due, the refund or a credit note will be processed within 14 days to the cost of the goods being returned. As such they may contain imperfections. All glass beads are fully kiln annealed for strength and durability, despite this they are still glass and should be treated as such. These beads are not designed for children, they are not toys and should not be treated as such, Soul Silver claims no responsibility for accidents arising from the misuse or improper treatment of its works. ​ IMPORT TAXES AND DUTY ​ The buyer is liable for all duty, tax and other import charges as may arise on international purchases. COPYRIGHT ​ All Photographs and content on this site are the copyright of Sally Sutherland Designs and any reproduction without the written consent of the owner is a breach that may result in legal action. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION The agreement between you and us shall be governed by the law of Scotland and you and we shall both submit to the jurisdiction of the Scottish Courts.
